Wowashwow - Pussy Power

‘I’m A Hashole’ Reveals the Real Wowashwow

LOS ANGELES – Singer, songwriter, entertainer, activist, and social media influencer are words used to describe Wowashwow, but her latest album, “I’m A Hashole,” reveals the real woman behind the titles.

“This album is a full representation of who I am and not a representation of what I think people want me to be,” she explained.

A combination of hip hop and mainstream pop, the nine-track album slated to be released on Nov. 26 is a creative masterpiece of the artist known for her legendary music videos, performances, and body-shaking beats.

In true Wowashwow style, she describes “I’m A Hashole” as “shit that you can shake your ass off to when you listen to this album. I create music that not only makes me happy, makes me want to dance, and makes me want to feel good, but when someone else listens to it, they can shake their motherf*ckin’ ass.”

The first single off “I’m A Hashole” is “PU$$I Power.” “The whole song is about an attitude and way of life,” she said, describing the song that is not just about female genitalia but a way of life – that is confident, positive, and ready to hustle. “PU$$I is an attitude like if you’re a bad bitch, which can be a woman, man, or gender fluid person.”

The Queen of Making Bops is currently working on the “PU$$I Power” music video, which will be released at the end of 2021 or early 2022. It is sure to be epic!

Switching gears and toning down the tempo, the album single, “Eyes Wide Shut,” pays homage to the South Jersey/Philadelphia native’s rock ‘n roll roots and harkens back to when she was lead singer and guitarist in a punk rock band. Beyond the song’s hard-driving beats and multiple vocal ranges, its message is clear. “It’s a song about letting people know that you’re here and that you cannot push me away from my goals, my dreams, my aspirations, (and) the things that I want. Even with my eyes shut, I can see through all the bullshit, and I keep pushing forward.”

Overall, “I’m A Hashole” is an upbeat hip-hop album representing the best of Wowashwow. Staying true to herself and keeping it real, all the lyrics were all composed by Wowashwow. The album was created using live instrumentation and without autotune. Whether it is booming vocals, freestyling raps, ass shaking jams, “I’m A Hashole” is pure perfection – pure Wowashwow.

As much as Wowashwow loves music, she is an activist for the Cannabis industry and uses her platform to remove the stigma associated with it. Using her trademark sarcasm for the album’s title, nothing is sarcastic about her passion for the Cannabis industry.  In addition to headlining Cannabis conventions and expos, she is a 2022 Orange County Cannabis Award Musician of the Year nominee, an honor she does not take for granted. “I’m as passionate about the Cannabis industry as much as I am about music,” she said.

With roots dedicated to the stoners and the body-positive community, Wowashwow said, “I’m 100% me, and I bring those weird and awkward energies to the stage. There’s this connotation that when I get on stage and I’m just going to stand and be in one single spot, (and) not move around – then I go running across the stage and ten-inch platforms, like Mick Jagger. I have an entire seven-piece live band behind me with dancers and everything. It’s a vibe, and I love it. It’s real music. Honestly, the album’s f*cking fire; it’s a really good album.”

Deetrxll - Mr Trxll

Deetrxll Combines Trap and R&B in “Certified Gutta Boy”

PORT ARTHUR, TEXAS – Known for his signature narratives that grab your soul and a hard-hitting cadence, Deetrxll’s album, “Certified Gutta Boy,” is an inside look at the artist who is quickly gaining attention on streaming platforms.

At only 24 years of age, Deetrxll bypassed mainstream music to write and perform his style that combines the smooth rhythms associated with R&B and the melodic beats of trap. Setting this Louisiana native apart from other musicians, Deetrxll’s voice and versatility cannot be copied.

“My voice is a high pitch but not too high. It’s in the middle – a deep high-pitched voice,” said Deetrxll.

Admitting that his writing topic varies on his moods, Deetrxll’s album “Certified Gutta Boy” was written a year ago. Busy dropping singles, the album was put on the backburner. But the songs depicting Deetrxll’s life are now released for fans to get an inside look at what makes this up-and-coming storyteller tick.

“Everybody wanted me to drop an album. I don’t really know why I waited so long,” he stated. “I think maybe I was scared of what people would be like. This is my first professional, studio recording album.”

Any fears that Deetrxll had about the Nov. 2 album release quickly faded. Listeners continue to give the nine-track LP high marks.

“Certified Gutta Boy” kicks off with “Mr. Trxll (Intro),” which is an inside look at Deetrxll. “It’s really about me and where I came from – the bad area of Louisiana and coming to Texas,” he said.

Keeping the up-tempo vibe going, “We Outside” is destined to be a club, hard-hitting favorite song. Featuring P.A. Yung’n, the single dives further into Deetrxll’s current life. The party song focuses on both sides of a town, sometimes rivals, coming together to party without violence.

Influenced by music greats like Lil Wayne, 2Pac, and Lil Baby, Deetrxll is developing a lengthy discography demonstrating his unique storytelling abilities and melodies. While other artists inspire him, his music is original, and each track gives listeners a different vibe. He performs a rap song and follows it up with a smooth R&B track switching back and forth throughout “Certified Gutta Boy.”

Listening to this hip hop artist, you may think he always wanted to be a musician. However, the former tattoo artist says he “got tired hearing the same song over and over when working. So, I went and made my own music. One of my friends heard it and said I should keep going, so I just kept going.”

While Deetrxll is becoming addicted to hitting the studio and dropping singles, he is currently compiling an EP and completing music videos. Fans can expect to see more Deetrxll originals before the end of 2021.

Yasmina - Moon

Finnish singer pairs ethereal vibes with vulnerable lyrics on new single ‘Moon’

VAASA, FINLAND – In Greek mythology, Selene is the goddess of the Moon. As the tale goes, she drives her moon chariot across the heavens and was worshiped as the all-seeing eye of the night because the moon would always be visible in the night sky and no one could run from it. She shone bright with her magnificent silver light, which is an apt analogy for the way Yasmina Limam’s music is drawing attention from all over the world.

Hailing from a small hamlet in Finland, this ethereal vocalist with an electro-pop edge is bringing a very modern yet progressive sound to the global stage. Her new EP, “Moon,” which is slated to release later this year, embraces the symbology of the goddess Selene and serves as a platform for the kind of inspirational music this talented young artist wants to offer to the world.

“I want my music to be known for being authentically who I want to be and what I want to present myself as,” she said. “I never want to change my music for others. It’s coming straight out of me and I want people to notice that and hear that from my songs. One of the biggest things I would want to be known for is being vulnerable, and I want to bring that out in other people, as well.”

Yasmina has already released the first single from this forthcoming project, called “Mornings,” to high praise from industry insiders and fans alike. And now she’s following that up with the second single from the EP, which shares the name of the project “Moon.” The ethereal EDM vibe serves as the foundation for her spiritual journey, and the lyrics give audiences an inside peek into who she is as a woman and a person.

“I was reading about Selene and how powerful her feminine energy is,” Yasmina said. “I loved her story and wanted to use that in the song. I just started writing from the heart, and next thing I know it was there. It’s pretty poetic, and there are a lot of hidden messages behind the lyrics. I consider myself a pretty spiritual person and I like to use a lot of spirituality in my songs. I like to use a lot of deeper messages and bring out that spiritual view of things, while also offering healing and sharing with others the vibe it brings to me when I sing it.”

“Moon” is currently available to stream on all major platforms.

Silence - Summertime Feat. EMDUBAI

Silence Releases A New Single Titled "Summertime" Featuring EMDUBAI

Derek Baily most known as “Silence” was born in Cedar Rapids Iowa. Silence was given his name at an early age for being quiet and shy, but the name stuck has he got older and into trouble as he was known as someone who would react without being noticed. After turning his life around the name stayed but became more of a positive nickname in his life, now showing positive actions in “silence”.

His love of music started when he was younger but never turned into anything until the Summer of 2018 when he met Executive A&R Andre Williams. He started working under him as his Jr. A&R and learn the music business helping with different projects and artists.

It was in 2020 when he decided to take the business and use it for himself turning his love of writing into artistry.

When you ask him where his music comes from, he will sheepishly tell you it’s from the life and struggles of the pain he’s dealt with watching his sister die to his mother not being able to take care of him since the age of 12 due to a prescription drug habit. Being homeless since the age of 12 he’s relied on street smarts, his personality, and ability to adapt to turn him into the person he is today, and the artist we see now. His fun-loving humor, to his bold statements of survival as “the white kid” on the streets bouncing back and forth from St. Louis to Iowa, Silence is not so silent now after all.

He just released his newest single over the summer “Summertime” featuring Iowa/Atlanta artist EMDUBAI and it was also Executive Produced/A&R by DJ K Yung. He is sent to do a joint project with Cedar Rapids IA artist Tone da Boss set to release in October of 2021.

Silence's Bio

Silence is a writer and artist hailing from Cedar Rapids Iowa. He started in the music business as a Jr. A&R under the advisement of an Executive A&R moving his way up until deciding to turn his knowledge of the business into crafting his career with his own artistry.

MarleyIBe - SKRT

From poetry to trap, MarleyIBe announces his arrival with new project ‘Bone’

From poetry to trap, MarleyIBe announces his arrival with new project BoneMusic was always Dominik Kadoniya Kelly’s first love, but it was his poetry that first earned him a reputation. The 26-year-old, who was born in Germany and now lives in the Washington, D.C. area, gained a huge following on Twitter with his “Bittersweet Tuesdays” poetry that showed a vulnerable side and built an intimate connection with his audience. “I posted a poem one day and everybody liked it so I kept posting them but I always liked music,” says Kelly. “After the poetry got the ball rolling and I built a fanbase I decided to translate that into what I actually wanted to do with myself. The result? A music artist best known as MarleyIBe who just released his newest project: Bone, which features 11 tracks with an old-school mixtape feel like the ones Kelly grew up listening to with skits and hosting by DJs. Kelly wants each of his projects to have a different vibe and Bone serves as his step out party. “Just an introduction, a different way for people to view me,” he says. “The next projects won’t sound anything like this.”Bone has more of a trap rap feel to it and it likely won’t take fans by surprise as much as Kelly’s first tape, which caught many off guard who only knew Kelly for his poetry. “The music was very different from what people were expecting and they were surprised by what they heard,” he says. “With this tape they know more what to expect.”“A lot of people seem to gravitate towards the song ’Skrt’ and I believe that’s because it has a really catchy hook and there’s a chant-like vibe, a cadence that I do in the song that gives it a chant-like vibe and I think people are attracted to that,” he says. “It makes them gravitate towards the song as soon as it turns on.”The project’s third track, “Baby Muva,” features Rico Nasty, who’s signed to Atlantic Records. Overall it’s a very upbeat project and Kelly strived to create something cohesive, something that blended together as one. It’s a fun project not meant to be taken too seriously. Kelly considers himself a dynamic artist and while most of his releases to date feature his rapping ability he’s not just a hip-hop artist. All of his projects currently in the works sound completely different and his next release will give off more of an alternative rock and pop vibe. His first full album, still in the works, will feature more of his poetry. “I grew up in Germany with my father in the military so I moved around a lot,” Kelly says. “The type of music I grew up listening to wasn’t the same that most people were influenced by or had the ability to experience. From just music in different languages to festival type music, people don’t really go outside their comfort zone as far as what they listened to here and my parents forced me to listen to different types of music growing up.”Kelly, in particular, was heavily influenced by Tupac as a person and an artist and says Lil Wayne has been a great inspiration. And Bob Marley – if Kelly’s stage name doesn’t give it away – has also been a key influence. The MarleyIBe name originated when everybody said Kelly looked like the legendary reggae artist. “There’s an old Lil Wayne song and he references somebody else and he says ‘Marley I Be’ talking to the person outside int he studio,” Kelly says. “I don’t know why, that just always stuck with me. Somebody else I knew blessed me with the name and decided that should be with me and I’ve rolled with it ever since.”Kelly’s goal as MarleyIBe is to make music that everybody can listen to. “Maybe this song isn’t for you but I want to make a song for everybody,” he says.

Paul Morris - Coolest

Artistry of Paul Morris set to be put on full display with string of single releases leading to full album ‘The Flight’

LOS ANGELES, CA – The full realization of Paul Morris’ artistic masterpiece is about to be unveiled for a global audience. What started with his hit single “No Reverse” at the beginning of the year now continues with “Coolest,” the next in a string of singles set to be released every month from now until July of 2022. And each song comes with an animated video – one playing off the other for a story woven together through song and artistic expression. Ultimately the story will be contained in the album “The Flight,” which will be released at the end of the journey.

Unlike “No Reverse” – which featured a spacey, out-of-this-world vibe – “Coolest” kicks the door open with a unique and original production style that perfectly sets the stage for the music to be featured on “The Flight.” It’s a song that shows the world who he is as an artist and what he’s able to bring to the table as a producer. It also defines him as a person lyrically, and introduces just one of many sounds perfected with the help of Grammy-nominated recording and mixing engineer Bryan Cruz.

“It’s going to be a broad album with different sounds throughout,” Morris said. “There’s definitely a different tempo on this song than the last one, which has a slower tempo and was more political. With this song it’s all me and it’s a party and we’re cruising together. It’s a vibe, and kind of an autobiography, but in a cool way. Ultimately it’s a song about how cool I am and how cool the project is.”

Formerly known as the artist Konchynce, Morris has long been a sought-after producer in the industry. He’s been making music for the better part of the last decade and has had the opportunity to work with many Grammy-nominated producers and engineers. Early in his career he worked with Derrick “Drop” Braxton on his mixtape “The Knowledge.” Drop is a producer perhaps best known for working with Lupe Fiasco on his album “The Cool,” which has received high praise from industry insiders since its release in 2007. Morris said he connected with Drop shortly after Lupe’s album release, and took him under his wing. He’s put in the hard work and honed his sound to be something truly special.

“My music is always about positivity,” he said. “I produce my own music, collaborate with other artists, and just try to make positive, moving music. ‘The Flight’ is about taking things to the next level. That’s really the theme of the whole album – moving to the next level. What the journey and the ride is like to start as an independent artist and becoming a superstar. The incline and taking off – me taking off and going to the next level. I’ve been behind the scenes for a long time, and this is like the takeoff.”

“Coolest” is slated to drop across all streaming platforms on Sept. 17.

Triple Beam Jesus - Bless The Peasant

Triple Beam Jesus offers empowering music with new single ‘Bless The Peasants’

OAKLAND, CA – Anyone who knows anything about the street life will know the significance of a triple beam scale. Suffice to say it is the epitome of precision, and that’s an apt representation of the West Coast artist who goes by the stage name Triple Beam Jesus. With his unique sound and style, you won’t find a more accurate or authentic representation of a self-made rags-to-riches entrepreneur.

Pairing “old school shit” with a modern day twist, Triple Beam Jesus offers a distinct West Coast hip-hop sound that not only feels nostalgic but also offers a modern-day take on a brand of music that’s long been respected all around the world. With his latest hit “Bless The Peasants,” Triple Beam Jesus shows the world how he’s become a master of witty wordplay and introspective lyrics, while serving as one hip-hop’s premier storytellers.

Set against a smooth, laid-back vibe, “Bless The Peasants” tells the story of living a cool lifestyle. The West Coast slow jam has a bouncy beat that will have you bopping your head, and serves as a perfect groove for just hanging out with friends or for getting high.

“It’s just some smokin’ music, basically,” Triple Beam Jesus said. “It’s about being laid-back and not being too pressed about going to things when people invite me to things. I don’t always show up to shit, but when I do show up I feel like I’m doing them a favor.”

Hailing from Oakland, California, Triple Beam Jesus has traveled the world doing music and building his cannabis business. When he opened his cannabis dispensary at only age 22, he was the youngest African American owner of a Cannabis dispensary in California. Gaining the success that he has in the industry at such a young age, he serves as an inspiration to any person who dreams of owning their own business. And that inspiration spills over into his music. In fact, that’s the main thing he hopes people take from his music.

“At the end of the day I hope people can take something from what I’m saying and empower themselves,” he said. “I hope my music inspires them to take a risk on something they never thought was possible.”

Triple Beam Jesus said he plans on following up “Bless The Peasants” with another single next month called “Hello Kitty.”
